Every year, together with artist Munne, I organize the Dutch Design Toetje Award.

There’s only one rule: all desserts need to be handed in in an archetypical stackable beer glass. In previous years, a famous Dutch Designers once tried handing in his scrumptious culinary creation in contemporary stackable glasswork made by his studio, but was disqualified immediately. On the other hand, strong alcoholic substances, blackmailing, charm offensives and whipped-cream explosions have all succesfully passed the first selection! And yes, bribing is encouraged, as long as it comes with frosting.

For this, we always ‘hijack” the DDW visuals, as can be seen in these examples.
