Lovely Dutchy

Logo design for Lovely Dutchy: a blog about healthy recipes, fitness, cool apps and great restaurants in the Netherlands and beyond. 

I worked with the iconic shapes of both a tulip and a heart, positioning the heart at the root of the flower. (Because: as the holy saint declares in the great movie ‘La Grande Belezza’: “Roots are important”.)

Looked at from a distance the logo also bears resemblance to an old dip pen.
