Logo design for INTAKE Theatre Company in London, founded by Adam Scott. In his words: “When considering the philosophy of the company I was inspired by the idea of hydro electric dames. The ‘intake’ is an early part of the conversion process. The water is first drawn from the reservoir and then stored in the intake tank. It is then drawn down a channel called the penstock that leads to the turbines that -with the generator- turns the waters force into energy. I liked the idea of that when thinking about the company; you select a group of creatives from a vast industry, store them in the intake and through a collaborative creative journey out collective force creates energy. Creative energy.”

The waterflow so typical for these hydro electric dames is used in design, merging with the letters of the word Intake.
